Back on 5th February, we all enjoyed in the celebration of Chinese New Year – this year is the Year of the Pig, so people born in this year are said to be honest and frank in personality, with a chivalrous and gallant manner. They’re also meant to be good-tempered, kind-hearted, positive and loyal.

The Groveland Park team got in the spirit of things, attempting to put on a Geisha dance performance! It was entertaining to say the least. Residents and visitors enjoyed tucking into our delicious Chinese food, and some people were even brave enough to use chopsticks! We finished the meal off with fortune cookies. Everyone who came along was given a small gift in celebration of the evening, which was a lovely touch.
